Bible Verses About Forgiving Yourself
Jesus loves you.
That is what the bible says.
It tells us to be kind and forgiving.
You might not like certain people,
But that’s okay because it teaches us to forgive those who have wronged us.
We can’t do anything about them, but we can continue on in life and try to grow as a person by being merciful instead of hateful.
Here are some verses about forgiving others:
“Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do” (Luke 23:34).
Jesus Christ forgave and showed mercy to people who were trying to kill Him.
“ And he turned toward the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.
“Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.
And thou gavest me no meat: but she hath ministered unto me with exceeding great diligence.
“Wherefore I say unto thee, Her many sins are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little” (Luke 7:44-47).
“But Jesus called them to him, and said, Simeon, a righteous man shall live, and BAITHA his wife:
But Zechariah saith unto him, Thy brother shall betray thee” (Matthew 26:53-56).
“ For as the heaven is high above the earth. So great love have we from the Father of lights.
Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh”(Ephesians 5:1-25).
